Emily Grace Anton (Flounder) began her love for theater at the age of 6 when she was cast in Annie at a local children's theater. She was cast in several shows there before she hit the stage at Dream City Church's Celebration of Christmas where she was cast as Rebecca. Lydia Attasseril (Mermaid Girl) is a 10 year old native of Phoenix, Arizona. She is very excited about being in The Little Mermaid, which is her debut theater experience. Christian Aytch (Sailor, Courtier, Sea Creature)
Christian Aytch (Sailor, Courtier, Sea Creature) is an actor originally from Atlanta, Georgia and this is his first production at Dream City. He is proud to be part of such an amazing and talented cast. He has recently been in productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as Judah and part of the ensemble cast in The Producers. Jonathan Perry Brown (Grimsby)
Jonathan Perry Brown (Grimsby) is very excited to be returning to DCC's stage as Grimsby in its fourth summer musical. His previous DCC roles were Potiphar/Butler in "Joseph...", Admiral Boom/Von Hussler in "Mary Poppins", and Mr. Mayor in "Seussical." Jonathan has performed in several productions throughout the greater Phoenix area including "The Drowsy Chaperone" (Man in Chair), "Young Frankenstein" (Igor), and "Scrooge in Rouge" (Lottie Obbligato). Andy Burch (Pilot, Fish Dancer, Chef)
Andy Burch (Pilot, Fish Dancer, Chef) has been a Disney fan for as long as he can remember. He even named all of his pets after Disney characters, so he is super excited about being a part of a classic Disney show! Andy has been doing theater productions with DCC for over 10 years with various roles in many of the church productions including Celebration of Christmas, Seussical, and Mary Poppins. When he is not performing with the church, Andy is competing in ballroom dance competitions with his wife Kristina.
Gavin Bush (Seahorse, Gull)
Gavin Bush (Seahorse, Gull) is an upcoming junior at Scottsdale Christian Academy. Some of his past performances include Into the Woods (Baker), The Diary of Anne Frank (Mr. Van Daan), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Brother), Godspell (Tribe), and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown). Gavin sings in the SCA Concert Choir and Chorale. He takes voice lesson with Tom Jones. He is part of the SCA swim team. Gavin is also the Student Body Vice President in the SCA Student Government. Kim Cooper-Schmidt (Jetsam) is a Zoni-nominated and multiple-award-winning actress and professional performer in addition to being a both a stage and aerial choreographer/performer for more than 25 years. Favorite roles that she has played include Truly Scrumptious (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Doralee (9 to 5), Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Jemima (Cats), Maggie (A Chorus Line), Babe (The Pajama Game), Marian Paroo (The Music Man), Hope (Anything Goes), Delee (Smokey Joe’s Cafe). Kim also works as an actor/performer/vocalist/aerialist professionally for Storybook Entertainment, All That Glitters, AzDance Group, Showstoppers Entertainment and has partnered with and represented companies including Phoenix Children's Hospital, Desert Ridge Marketplace and Marriott Resorts. She would like to thank God, and her mentors: Broadway and Hollywood Legend Dee Dee Wood, T.A. Hector Coris (Sebastian) is thrilled to be a part of this gorgeous production! He is an award-winning vocalist and actor originally from NYC, now resident of the Valley. Selected past Arizona theater experience: Guys & Dolls, ...Forum, The Producers (with Scottsdale Musical Theatre Company), Urinetown (MET), City of Angels (TheatreWorks). She has been in 7 shows with CYT Phoenix, and her favorite so far was The Lion King Jr., in which she played Rafiki. Jessie Finch (Mersister Adella) has been a thespian for almost ten years doing plays such as A Christmas Carol, High School Musical, Cinderella, and so much more! This will be her second production here at Dream City Church, her first being “Mary Poppins” playing Jane Banks. She is so excited to be participating in another Dream City production and can't wait for you to see this magical production.
Janaysha Garcia (Mermaid Girl)
Janaysha Garcia (Mermaid Girl) is a native North Carolinian who moved here in July 2016. She is a rising 4th grader attending Highland Arts Elementary School in Mesa, AZ. She loves to sing. This is her second performance and she loves this show because it's groovy and it has a lot of dancing. This experience is fantastic!
Raylinne Garcia (Flying Fish, Princess)
Raylinne Garcia (Flying Fish, Princess) is a native North Carolinian who moved here in July 2016. She is a rising 9th grader attending Dobson High School in Mesa, AZ. She loves to sing, dance and participate in Fine Arts. This is her second show and she’s so excited to be a princess and a flying fish.

Gracie Gentile (Ariel) is overjoyed and delighted to bring life her dream role on the Dream City stage with a phenomenal cast. Gracie has done many shows around the valley. Recent credits include "High School Musical" (Sharpay), "Legally Blonde" (Ensemble), "Mary Poppins"(Mary Poppins), "Shrek the Musical" (Gingy). Gracie will be moving to Philadelphia to continue her training in Musical Theatre at University of the Arts. Isabella Guevara (Mermaid Girl) began her theater experience when she was three years old. She has been in may productions at DCC and at her school, which have inspired her to become a Broadway actress. She’s so excited to do this summer musical this year! The colors are bright and are going to “WOW!” the audience!
Cooper Hallstrom (Prince Eric)
Cooper Hallstrom (Prince Eric) is thrilled to be back home in Phoenix working on another Mark Stoddard production! You might remember him from Dream City’s productions of Mary Poppins (Bert) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph). He has recently moved back from Orlando, Florida where he spent two years performing in shows and parades at Disney World. Recently he has been traveling with the U.S. and Japan tour of Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie's Doorway to Magic. Other productions include The Fantasticks, Avenue Q, Hairspray, Spring Awakening, and many others. He also holds his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona. Holden Hanna (Windward, Chef) is going to be a sophomore at Belmont University as a Musical Theater Major. He began appearing in high school shows at Scottsdale Christian Academy, playing Fester (The Addams Family), Waldo (East of the Sun and West of the Moon), Conrad Birdie (Bye Bye Birdie), and a Wickersham (Seussical). Lukas Hendricks (Fish Dancer, Chef)
Lukas Hendricks (Fish Dancer, Chef), "Luke" as his friends call him, has always been enthusiastic about all kinds of dance and musical theater. He is currently taking lessons for clogging (similar to tap), and has experience in figure skating, stomp, swing dancing, and musical theater choreography. This is Luke's first production with Dream City and he is very thankful for this opportunity.
Zack Hendricks (Sailor, Courtier, Sea Creature)
Zack Hendricks (Sailor, Courtier, Sea Creature) is a recent high school graduate. He focused mostly on playing football, basketball, and baseball for the last four years. This fall, he will be majoring in mechanical engineering at GCU. The Little Mermaid is his first theatrical production with Dream City Church and he is having a great time.
Sophie Hinnen (Fish Dancer, Chef)
Sophie Hinnen (Fish Dancer, Chef) graduated from Scottsdale Christian Academy this past year and is attending Colorado State University to study Environmental Engineering in the fall. She has been involved in the theater program at Scottsdale Christian since elementary school and also participated in theater at Do Re Mi School of Music. She has also taken dance classes at various dance studios around the Valley.
Alden Hobbs (Fish Dancer, Chef)
Alden Hobbs (Fish Dancer, Chef) will be a senior at Scottsdale Christian Academy and has been involved in its theater program for the past four years. She has performed in Into the Woods (Lucinda), Anne Frank (Margot), Godspell (Tribe), and The Addams Family (Ancestor). Scott Hyder (Scuttle) is honored to be in his second production at Dream City Church. He last appeared as Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins. He is so excited to be performing here again, working with some of the best professionals both on and off stage.

She will be attending Texas Christian University in the fall to continue her studies in Music and Theatre.
Lauren Nicole Johnson (Mersister Andrina)
Lauren Nicole Johnson (Mersister Andrina) fell in love with the theatre at the young age of 8 when she first worked with Mark Stoddard. She has pursued her love of acting, singing, and dancing through 30+ productions since then, with a few of her favorite roles being Jane Bennett in Pride and Prejudice, Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Cordie Biddle in The Happiest Millionaire, and a Dancer in Mary Poppins, Oklahoma, The Music Man, and Fiddler on the Roof. She is so excited to work with Mark, Rachel, and Kathleen again this summer and is honored to share the stage with so many talented people who inspire her to develop and to invest in the arts.

Alli Ross (Fish Dancer, Gull) is currently a sophomore earning a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education at GCU after learning how to dance through various shows at MoezArt Productions such as Oklahoma (Dancer), Snoopy (Peppermint Patty), and Once Upon a Mattress (Dance Captain). She is very excited to be back at Dream City after performing with them in last summer’s production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat (Dancer) and the last two productions of Celebration of Christmas (Rockette, Swing Dancer). Alyssa Shea Rodriquez (Mersister Arista) has been a part of the arts at Dream City Church since she was a child. She received much of her training from Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics and has performed with numerous theaters around the valley including Arizona Broadway Theatre, Valley Youth Theatre, and Spotlight Youth Theatre. Tiffany Swartzentruber (Princess, Sea Creature) is so excited to once again be working with Mark and the team at Dream City! She has been seen in a variety of roles including the Mayor’s Wife in Seussical, Breaking Good, and Glam, working both onstage and backstage. She also had the wonderful opportunity to participate with Edinburgh Music Theatre in the International Fringe Festival in a Disney Broadway Revue.

Darrean Sweeney (Fish Dancer, Gull) is a 24 year old young adult who got into theater and dance a few years ago. They have become two of her biggest passions. Ever since she got into theater back in May 2015, she has been in 6 shows and 4 dance shows, including Dream City's Celebration of Christmas as a Rockette. The Little Mermaid has always been one of her favorites and she can't wait to perform in it as a dancer this summer and honor God through it all.

Cameron Swindler (Chef Louis, Fish Dancer) is thrilled to participate in his second DCC show. Since appearing in DCC’s Joseph last summer, he’s had the chance to play Walter Hobbs in Elf: The Musical and Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun (Pinnacle Creative Arts Studio) and Ching Ho in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Hale Centre Theatre). Dexter Tuten (Sailor, Courtier, Sea Creature) is a 22 year old actor who has been working in musical theater in the valley for about 5 years, including acting and stage management at CYT Phoenix, as well as studying theater at PVCC. Some favorite productions include Spamalot (as Not Dead Fred) at PVCC, and Thoroughly Modern Millie (as Trevor Graydon) at CYT Phoenix.

Micah Vandenboom (Flying Fish, Princess) has been involved in theater for several years at Dream City Church. She began her journey in theater as a child in Dream City Church’s annual Celebration of Christmas and later participated in Dream City Church’s production of Seussical the Musical. Alexia Wussow (Fish Dancer, Gull) is 17 years old and JUST graduated high school. Alexia has been studying dance off and on since age 3, and first discovered her love for theatre 8 years ago, and has been in 24 musicals. Some favorite roles include the Crocodile (Peter Pan Jr), Wickersham Brother (Seussical), Emily Hobbs (Elf the Musical Jr) and most recently a Cowgirl (Annie Get Your Gun).
